As a 150 year old brand, you look to history.
The only other time the Kentucky Derby was postponed was at the end of WWII. Back then, eager Derby fans and degenerate gamblers raced turtles instead.
With live sports in 2020 completely shut down, we saw an opportunity to fill the void of sports entertainment, nod to history and have some fun selling some fucking whiskey, launching the first Kentucky Turtle Derby since 1945.
